The nomadic course of study Viaggio in Italia seeks out various locations in Italy where students are supervised by guest professors. The course has already existed since 2016 and sees itself as a new type of educational model that explores travel as a path of growth and experimentation.
The aim of the project is to create a programme that crosses and heterogeneous and distant locations in order to intensify the relationship with the analysed context and the Italian social landscape. The residencies contribute to the definition and research of a new shared awareness of the territories crossed and explore the practices and particularities of these.

For the first stay in South Tyrol, the internationally renowned Japanese photographer Rika Noguchi will give a workshop at Gandegg Castle in spring. In her practice, the artist investigates nature photography and often experiments with close-ups, blurred images and atypical shooting devices such as the pinhole camera. Her unique perspective, moving from the microscopic to the macroscopic, her choice of subjects that seem to touch on the mysteries of human beings, as well as her use of light colours and poetic expressions, have won her great recognition both in Japan and on the international scene.

Der nomadische Studiengang Viaggio in Italia sucht verschiedene Orte Italiens auf, in denen die Studierenden von Gastprofessoren unterrichtet werden. Der Studiengang existiert bereits seit 2016 und versteht sich als eine neue Art von Bildungsmodell, das die Reise als Weg des Wachstums und des Experimentierens erforscht.
Das Ziel des Projekts ist es, ein Programm zu erstellen, das unterschiedliche und entfernte Orte durchquert, um die Beziehung zum Kontext und zur sozialen Landschaft Italiens zu stärken: Die Residenzen tragen zur Definition und Suche nach einem neuen gemeinsamen Bewusstsein der durchquerten Gebiete bei und erforscht die Praktiken und Besonderheiten dieser.

Für den ersten Aufenthalt in Südtirol wird im Frühjahr die japanische Fotografin Rika Noguchi im Schloss Gandegg einen Workshop geben.
Noguchi konzentriert sich auf Naturfotografie und experimentiert häufig mit Nahaufnahmen, unscharfen Bildern und untypischen Aufnahmegeräten wie der Lochkamera. Ihre einzigartige Perspektive, die scheinbar zwischen mikroskopisch und makroskopisch wechselt, ihre Auswahl an Motiven, die die Mysterien der Menschen zu berühren scheinen, sowie ihre klaren Farben und poetischen Ausdrücke haben sowohl in Japan als auch im Ausland hohe Anerkennung gefunden.

Il corso di studi nomade Viaggio in Italia ricerca diversi luoghi in Italia nei quali gli studenti e le studentesse sono seguiti da professori ospiti. Il corso esiste già dal 2016 e si considera un nuovo tipo di modello educativo che esplora il viaggio come un percorso di crescita e di sperimentazione.
L'obiettivo del progetto è quello di creare un programma che attraversi e luoghi eterogenei e lontani tra loro, al fine di intensificare la relazione con il contesto analizzato e con il paesaggio sociale italiano. Le residenze contribuiscono alla definizione e alla ricerca di una nuova consapevolezza condivisa dei territori attraversati ed esplora le pratiche e le particolarità di queste.

La fotografa giapponese di fama internazionale Rika Noguchi come insegnante per un periodo di quindici giorni. Nella sua pratica, l’artista indaga la fotografia naturalistica e spesso sperimenta con primi piani, immagini sfocate e dispositivi di ripresa atipici come la fotocamera a foro stenopeico. La sua prospettiva unica, che passa dal microscopico al macroscopico, la scelta di soggetti che sembrano toccare i misteri dell'essere umano, così come l’uso di colori chiari e le sue espressioni poetiche, hanno ottenuta grandi riconoscimenti sia in Giappone che nella scena internazionale.
